About Us
The Cabins at Chimney Mountain are located at the base of Chimney Mountain in the Siamese Ponds Wilderness Area of Indian Lake, New York. It is wild state forest as far as you can see. The cabins are the only private property on Kings Flow.
As you leave behind the center of Indian Lake and journey to the end of Big Brook Road, you will find 8 cabins tucked away from civilization. The setting could not be more perfect with Kings Flow in the foreground, the twin peaks of Humphrey Mountain in the background, plus acres of gorgeous forest to explore.
Choose your favorite season--our cabins are open year round.
In spring, summer and fall, explore your surroundings by hiking the well known Chimney Mountain and Puffer Pond trails, or a number of other scenic trails that begin on the property. Fishing on the lake for those who prefer the water. Or relax on the porch and watch the day go by.
In winter, enjoy the beauty of snow-capped mountains and cross country skiing. Or enjoy your day at several nearby ski areas. Retreat from the cold to the warmth of a cozy fire in your cabin at night.
The Cabins at Chimney Mountain are only one-half hour drive from Gore Mountain, one hour from Lake George, and less than two hours from Lake Placid.
Our cabins accommodate 2 to 10 people. Each contains a fireplace, full plumbing and heating and a fully equipped kitchen. All are completely furnished with the exception of linens, unless requested for a small fee.

Hello, my name is Davanna Marks and I wanted to introduce you to our family and let you know that we are the new owners of Cabins at Chimney Mountain! We immediately fell in love with this property and are excited to be the new stewards of this land and managers of the cabins.
My husband’s name is Tim Marks and we met as student athletes while attending Clarkson University and have been married for 10-years, we have two sons (Connor-12 & Carter-7) and two golden retrievers. We are a family that enjoys hard work, wilderness, hockey, baseball, volleyball, fishing, and hunting.
