About Our Cabins
The cabins at Camp Chimney Mountain are simple by design and rich in character. Built to honor the feel of a vintage American camp, each cabin offers a warm, rustic place to unplug. No frills, no forced luxury, just solid wood, fresh air, and space to slow down. These cabins are meant for people who value experience over perfection. Mornings that start with birds instead of screens, evenings lit by porch lights and campfires, and nights that end in deep, quiet sleep. They’re not about impressing guests, they’re about giving them room to reconnect, reflect, and make memories that feel earned.

Timber Tents
Our tents are a warm-weather tradition at Camp Chimney Mountain. They’re available seasonally, when the nights are mild and sleeping under canvas feels just right. When the colder months arrive, the tents close for the season and the cabins take over.

Big Balsam Timber Tent
Big Balsam is simple, quiet, and comfortably off-grid. This white duck tent sleeps up to four with one queen and one twin bed, just enough space to settle in without distraction. There’s no indoor bathroom, but an outhouse is nearby, and guests have access to an outdoor shower with on-demand hot water. Wi-Fi is available at the camp store when needed, though most guests find they don’t miss it once the fire is going.

Pine Timber is made for slowing down. This white duck tent sleeps two with twin beds and offers a true back-to-camp feel, peaceful, uncluttered, and grounded in nature. An outhouse and outdoor shower with on-demand hot water keep things simple but comfortable. Wi-Fi is available at the camp store, but this tent is best enjoyed unplugged, with fresh air, quiet mornings, and early nights.
